Cross country runners from James Calvert Spence College have recently enjoyed great success in the sport.
After competing at a cross country event at Temple Park, South Shields, earlier this month, three of the 12 students who took part, were selected to represent Northumberland at the Inter-Counties meeting at Stewart Park, Middlesbrough.
Pictured here at the counties meet are: Emma who came 25th (out of 67), Ava 35th (out of 67) and Harry (17th out of 59).
Emma also achieved 2nd place running for the Alnwick Harriers at a Temple Park race this month, and we couldn’t resist sharing this brilliant action shot of her flying through the air to dodge a puddle! (Photo credit for this shot to: Stuart Whitman.)
