ear 8 pupil, Alexis, recently attended Alnwick and District Sports Council Sports Awards, with the football team she plays for, Alnwick Town FC Juniors U13 Whites.
The event, which was held at The Alnwick Playhouse, was to celebrate local sporting talent and endeavour with 14 x awards presented during the course of the evening.
Alexis, who is an avid football player and really enjoys playing for Alnwick Town explains: “Our team won the award for most progress, having been placed 8th last season and now at the top. It was a great night and brilliant to see so many sports people from other sports including swimming and equestrian, being recognised for their achievements.”
Well done to Alexis and all the other sports people in our area for this recognition!
