Our sixth form students learned about research placement opportunities this week, thanks to a very interesting workshop delivered by Nuffield Research.

The Nuffield Research Programme offers students the opportunity to complete a placement within science, quantitative social science, computing, technology, engineering or maths (or a combination of these areas).

James Calvert Spence College Sixth Form students have an excellent track record of winning places on the scheme, and this week, our latest cohort learned about the benefits of taking place in the programme.

Along with gaining valuable research experience, students who take part in the Nuffield Research Programme receive specialist support and mentoring to help them complete their personal statements for university.

Students and parents who are interested in learning more about the programme should visit nuffieldresearchplacements.org
