At JCSC Sixth Form we have a broad course offering of Level 2 and Level 3 courses on offer to Sixth Form students.
You can read about individual subjects in the course documents below, which are taken from our Sixth Form Prospectus. Courses are organised into five different blocks, offering distinctive learning pathways that allow students to follow their strengths and passions. Students who do not achieve a grade 4 in Maths and English will need to resit, they also have the option to study a Level 2 Childcare.
These pathways are:
Art and Design
Science
Traditional/Academic (two option blocks)
Vocational
We ask students in Year 11 and those who wish to join JCSC in Sixth Form to indicate which courses they intend to take using the Sixth Form Course Intentions Form. We recognise that some students may wish to create a learning mix outside of these blocks and would encourage individuals to speak to Mr Moore at the earliest opportunity to discuss any alternative pathway possibilities.
