Congratulations to the group of JCSC staff and students who took part in the the ‘Army Youth Challenge’ Course (Super Camp 14) run by the 4th Infantry Brigade and Headquarters North East at Albemarle Barracks (Alb Bks), Newcastle

The aim of the course is to provide a series of challenging activities for participants to complete and in doing so enhance problem solving, team building, leadership skills – displaying the school values along the way.

Completion of the course can also help with accessing job opportunities in the Army.

Students completed:

  • Obstacle Course/Physical Activity
  • Artillery Capability Stand
  • Engineer Stand
  • Army Jobs Brief

Each student received a certificate for the day, a special well done goes to Eden H who was was awarded Course Student for the day.

Thanks go to the 4th Infantry Brigade for not only hosting the event but inviting students to witness a training exercise run by 3 Royal Horse Artillery, which provided abolutely fantastic careers insight for our attendees.

Thanks also to Miss Cassidy, Mrs Moir and Mr McAulay for supporting the students on the day.
