On Wednesday, June 15th, the main hall at Acklington Road became a buzzing hub for JCSC Careers Fair. Representatives from an impressive range of employers, apprenticeship providers, colleges and universities packed into the hall, where they were visited throughout the day by inquisitive students.
Each year group had the opportunity to come and chat with our visitors, moving between stalls to ask questions and complete activities. Our teachers also spent time meeting with our guests, identifying future curriculum collaboration opportunities.
The well-attended event, was organised in partnership with North East Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) . We’re pleased to report that JCSC Careers Fair 2022 provided lots of leads and inspiration for our students.
We want to extend a special thank you to North East Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) and all the organisations who attended on the day. The staff and students had a fantastic day and gave really positive feedback on the employers and organisations they met.

It is now even more important than ever that young people have exposure to and insight from the world of work. This Careers Fair offered the opportunity for pupils to have meaningful encounters with local and regional employers.”
