Celebrating our in-school apprentices for National Apprenticeship Week

Meet the apprentice! #NAW2025

To mark #NationalApprenticeshipWeek we are celebrating our in-house apprentices (past and current) who play a vital role in school supporting our staff and pupils.

Mrs McNaughton, High Level Teaching Assistant and mentor to our apprentices at JCSC, said: “Kadey has fitted in with the team from the start. She is great with the students, hard working and diligent.”

Mrs McNaughton, High Level Teaching Assistant and mentor to our apprentices at JCSC, said: “Miss Trewick completed her shadow timetable very quickly and soon began working one-to-one with a student with complex educational needs and medical conditions. She had bespoke training to deal with this student and overcame her own inhibitions to become confident, skilled and proficient in dealing with children with specific needs.”

Mrs McNaughton, High Level Teaching Assistant and mentor to our apprentices at JCSC, said: “Miss Chisholm has built some amazing relationships with some of our most vulnerable students, she works hard and has a really good sense of humour. She is a footballer and has always shared this passion with students through running clubs and movement breaks.”
