Our Acklington Road students (years 8-11) did a fab job of contributing to our Pride Wall. Ms Scrimgeour and Brigitta from our Art department went into creative overdrive with a fantastic and colourful display.
They included LGBTQIA terms and explanations to improve everyone’s knowledge and understanding, and to show how we are an inclusive community.
Ms Scrimgeour and Mrs Young from our Pastoral team wanted to combine this with a gratitude wall, so asked all year groups and staff to write down something they were proud or grateful for.
These are now displayed as a bold and bright rainbow. We have so many wonderful messages, which are so uplifting and joyful to read.
