Good school attendance can positively impact on pupils’ overall attainment. We have very clear policy and procedures in place to encourage good attendance and tackle low attendance and persistent absence. The relevant policy can be found on our policies page and attendance letter templates can be found below. Our policies and procedures are based on Statutory Guidance from the DFE Working Together To Improve School Attendance. Details of the new National Framework for Penalty Notices (which came into force on 19th August 2024) can also be downloaded below (see Penalty Notice Leaflet below).
