James Calvert Spence College is a 9-19 through school, catering for students from Year 5 to Year 13.
We require a teacher of English to join our school and lead intervention sessions with individuals and small groups, predominantly in year 11, to maximise their chances of top GCSE English grades.
The pupils and staff are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic individual who wants to make a difference to the life chances of our students. This is an excellent opportunity for an outstanding teacher of English to work alongside a very experienced team of English specialists to assist in our improvement journey.
JCSC has improved considerably over the last few years and GCSE outcomes are rising rapidly. We need a motivated individual, passionate about learning and ensuring all children reach their full potential, to assist in ensuring the ongoing success of this key area of the curriculum.

James Calvert Spence College is seeking to add to our existing team of exam invigilators to help assist throughout the exam period. Invigilators work directly under the Exams Officer, who will provide training and guidance for this important post.
Applicants must be confident, have good organisation skills, and be able to work flexible hours. Previous experience of dealing with school age students and examination processes are desirable but not essential.
