It was a very busy assembly at South Avenue today with a bumper crop of awards and certificates handed out.
Students also learned about the work of Macmillan Cancer Support ahead of the bake sale.
Some of our school community aimed high over the summer holidays by completing their reading challenges. These children all won a book.
We also had lots of well-deserved Be Kind, Work Hard or Aim High Awards:
- Nina B- won an award for showing kindness with her beach conservation designs.
- Jake O and Oliver Barnes showed their kindness by clearing the year 5 and 6 yard of rubbish after lunchtime
- Karl S- showed his kindness by lending someone his spare tie
- Max B – worked hard and was man of the match in his football match
- Grace O – worked really hard on her French
- Alarna-Mae, Eden H and Issy D have all won dance medals this week for working hard
