‘Amble Good Citizen Award’

Four local students gathered with their parents at Amble Development Trust to celebrate their nominations for this years ‘Amble Good Citizen’ Award. The four children who were nominated have all made positive contributions to the community and have demonstrated that they are kind and caring individuals.

Eden, from Year 6 at James Calvert Spence College, was nominated by Amble Youth Project after donating some of the profits from the sales of her jewellery business to the group.

PCSO Darin Fawcett, #NorthumbriaPolice who orgnaised the event and established the award to recognize the brilliant children we have in the town, said: “All of the children who are here today are winners! Young people don’t get enough praise when they do good things and we are so lucky to have children like these living in our local community.”

Eden has shown that she embodies our school values of ‘Be Kind, Work Hard and Aim High’ and we are so proud that her kindness has been celebrated at this event!

Congratulations to Eden, Maisie, Nancy and the overall winner Cora!
