Our Pupils Flourishing at the Amble Youth Project Allotment!

A selection of pupils from Year 7 – Year 10, supported by our Learning Support Partner, Mr Overhead, have been working hard at the Amble Youth Project (AYP) allotment and what a fantastic experience it has been.

This wonderful project “connects young people and the wider community with nature through hands‑on environmental action” (source: AYP website).

Through gardening, construction, planning, and design, our pupils are developing valuable practical skills, strengthening their teamwork, and building resilience. The joy of watching their hard work come to life is boosting their confidence and wellbeing, guided by social horticultural principles.

We are incredibly proud of their enthusiasm, teamwork, and commitment.

Below are some photos of our pupils in action.
