Lockdown Shining Lights: Spring Half Term Edition

Jun 10

At James Calvert Spence College we are fortunate to have so many hardworking and dedicated students and we are keen to recognise the efforts of these students.

This is even more important at this time when we are all working remotely. Therefore, the staff have nominated students for being ‘Shining Lights’.

This means the students who are role model learners at this time, the students who have thrown themselves into their work at home and impressed us with their dedication.

My colleagues have informed me that there were so many students they could have nominated to be recognised in this way so can I say a personal well done to all the students who are being diligent and working hard.

There were 75 certificates awarded across different subject areas and to students for modelling kind and helpful behaviour. Pupils from South Avenue were also recognised for excellent attitudes to learning.

We are very proud of you and we look forward to seeing you soon, when it is safe to do so. In the meantime, certificates will be posted out to all the nominees.
