JCSC has said a special thank you to Morrisons, Amble, for its support during recent months.

A group of students met with Morrisons Champion Marion McKenzie-Long and showed her the new banner on display outside the JCSC entrance.

The signage was created in thanks to the local store, which has gone above and beyond to assist our students since the COVID-19 pandemic hit the UK
Morrisons has kindly been donating breakfast goodies for students who have been in school.

The store has also donated prizes for competitions run during and before lockdown.

Morrisons Community Champion Marion McKenzie-Long said: “I was bowled over to see the sign at the school entrance and after I showed it to our Store Manager Kevin Smith, he drove that way home to have a look for himself!

“Being able to help with breakfasts, prizes and other items is great and I am really looking forward to developing the relationship between, and to offering support to not only JCSC but all the schools in Amble and surrounding areas in the future.”
